TWIC Deadline Approaching!!!


According to the Federal Register (73 Fed. Reg. 25562), all references to the September 25, 2008 deadline are to be replaced by April 15, 2009. Thus, a mariner must obtain a TWIC on/before April 15, 2009 vice September 25, 2008 for their USCG documents to remain valid. If a mariner fails to obtain a TWIC by April 15, 2009, their USCG documents will no longer be valid.
